Four years ago, after a few rounds of interviews, I got an email saying I got an internship at The American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival. Then, COVID-19 happened.

Fast forward to May 2023, I finally had the chance to attend the Festival de Cannes as a Social Media Marketing Intern. To say it was an amazing experience is a complete understatement. The people I’ve met, the memories I’ve created, the films I've seen, and everything I’ve experienced (from walking on the red carpet where so many influential people have walked on to watching the premiere of a film with fellow film lovers and the cast in the same room) changed me and the way I see life.
